ABOUT MERCATOR
Our Story
International Business Law Faculty Sub Association Mercator (IBL FSA 'Mercator') is a student-run organisation founded in May 2016.
Our goals, ambitions and inspirations have come together to form a truly amazing association that all of us are proud to be a part of. We regularly go above and beyond to ensure our members receive the support, resources and opportunities they need to grow and prosper. This includes, but is not limited to additional, study-related activities, such as visits to (law) firms, career workshops and courses in (English) job application procedures.
Part of the charm of Mercator is that we are not limited to visiting just law firms, because our study is rather business orientated we are able to offer our members possibilities to come into contact with a wide array of companies and organisations. A substantial amount of students at Leiden Law School will not end up being a lawyer, for those students Mercator has proven to be an unique association capable of delivering different experiences.
To conclude, Mercator is a special association suited for those students who have an interest in the corporate world that supersedes just the legal businesses.
